Professional Experience

Prior to joining Cooch and Taylor’s Family Law Department, Ms. Copeland was a law clerk for the Family Court of Delaware. Ms. Copeland completed a clerkship for Chief Judge Chandlee Johnson Kuhn of the Family Court of the State of Delaware following a clerkship for the Honorable Arlene Minus Coppadge and the Honorable Robert Coonin of the Family Court. While completing law school, Ms. Copeland was a Wolcott law clerk for Honorable Randy J. Holland of the Supreme Court of Delaware. She also worked as a certified legal intern with the Delaware Civil Clinic assisting indigent clients on matters of custody, protection from abuse orders and divorce.

Ms.Copeland works closely with individuals to help them resolve the legal issues regarding a variety of family law matters including divorce, property division, alimony, custody and visitation, child support, premarital agreements and domestic violence.
