Cooch and Taylor is pleased to announce that Douglas M. Hershman, has been elected co-chair of the Delaware regional satellite council of the Urban Land Institute Philadelphia, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing leadership in the responsible use of land and in creating and sustaining thriving communities worldwide. 

Mr. Hershman, a member of the Firm’s real estate department, represents clients engaged in all aspects of the real estate industry throughout Delaware and its surrounding states.  His practice includes representations of both buyers and sellers of commercial and residential real estate, as well as borrowers in financing transactions.  He represents lenders making commercial real estate loans and has handled transactions involving retail shopping centers, office buildings, apartment complexes, and residential subdivisions.  He is a licensed issuing agent for Fidelity National Title Insurance Corporation and Old Republic National Title Insurance Company.
