On Monday, May 23, 2016, Rose L. Green, our Labor and Employment Law Paralegal, was the keynote speaker at the Widener University Law Center Legal Education Institute graduation ceremony.  She gave the commencement address to a room full of graduating paralegal students, their families, and friends.  A total of 80 students graduated in December 2015.  Rose shared her uphill journey with the candidates and encouraged them to “reach for the stars, and in spite of the slow moving economy and slumping job market, hang in there and tell yourself that it’s only temporary. There is opportunity out there designed just for you.”

Rose gave much credit for her successful career to her boss, mentor, educator, and friend, G. Kevin Fasic, a Director and the head of the Labor and Employment Law practice group at Cooch and Taylor.  Rose reminded the graduating class of 2016 “that everything happens for a reason and every lesson is designed to prepare you for tomorrow, so get the lesson and move on, because it’s only temporary.”
